RSEA

COMMERCIAL, 2018

Agency: Stratosphere

Production: Filmgraphics

Director: Sophia Banks

Producer: Anna Fawcett

Post Production: Fanatic Films

Angela Cerasi’s bold, moody and cinematic colour grade features on this 2018 advertising campaign for RSEA: “WORK IT. OWN IT”. The campaign was directed by Sophia Banks.  The agency Stratosphere (now called Strat) and production company Filmgraphics worked closely on the campaign.  Post production was completed by Fanatic Films in Sydney.

The brand advert for RSEA Workwear was launched across free to air, Foxtel and digital. The 30 second advertisment showcases three hero tradies as they each have very different and exciting adventures. Their workwear takes them from PM to AM as they meet up onsite the next morning.  You can also view the director’s 60 second cut here.

The colour grade features lots of pops of the brand colour yellow.  It’s always very important that brand colours are matched as accurately as possible in the grade.  Despite the sometimes moody and shadowy shots, Angela had to make sure all the workwear, footwear and clothing featured in the commercial was highlighted and looked great!  There were also lots of changing environments that needed to be tied together and look cohesive in the grade.

RSEA Safety is the most trusted safety business in Australia, delivering what you need, when you need it – because there can be no compromise on safety.  They provide workwear, work boots and footwear, PPE, a workplace safety range, safety signage and a road safety/ traffic management range.

The commercial features the song Burnin’ by musician Danny Ayer, which later featured in the HBO series “Famous in Love“.
